DHOOM-3 delivers *more* than what it promises. The latest installment ups the ante as mean machines blaze across the screen in a dazzling display of stunt choreography. But it's not all metallic or mechanical mayhem... this one has heart and soul too -- an invigorating and intense drama with heart rending emotions! On the whole, DHOOM-3 is one solid entertainer loaded with attitude and star power that will leave fans of the series salivating for more. It is miles ahead of its predecessors in the DHOOM series. This will shatter previous records and set new ones. SURE-SHOT BLOCKBUSTER.

Aside from some genuinely cool moments like Aamir's getaway on a Chicago waterfront or the climax staged on a dam, Dhoom 3 doesn't offer very much by way of novelty or inventiveness.Ultimately, the film is let down by a convenient script and its inability to deliver solid entertainment. I'm going with a generous two-and-a-half out of five for writer-director Vijay Krishna Acharya's Dhoom 3. All you expect from the Dhoom movies is a thrill ride, but this one makes you feel like you're stranded in rush hour traffic. Read Full

Vijay Krishna Acharya and Aditya Chopra’s story is intelligent and full of surprises, twists and turns. The circus background of the drama gives the film a certain freshness as such a background has not been seen too often in Hindi films and definitely not in the present context. On the whole Dhoom:3 is an outstanding blockbuster and will set the box-office on fire. It will break old records and create new ones. It has the potential to be the biggest box-office bonanza ever. Read Full

Liftman: I saw Dhoom 3 too you know.  Me: Oh didn't wait for the review?  Liftman (scoffs): Your review? Good joke. I saw what you do with Bhai's films. You know what your problem is?  Me: What?  Liftman: You care too much for the story. For plot. For logic.  Me: Nothing to care for here considering they've borrowed from...   Read Full

does Dhoom:3 deliver? Yes and no. The third installment, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, is bigger and more plot-heavy than the first two. For the first time we are given a detailed reasonSo see Dhoom:3 but with your expectations at half-mast. It’s not the popcorn thrill ride that I expected. There just isn’t enough joy in it but Aamir and the stupendous action make this worth watching. I’m going with 3 stars. Read Full

Vijay Krishna Acharya's Dhoom 3 is another visual treat where you get to see a fancy foreign city, cool bikes, police cars and good stunts but that's about it.Dhoom 3 is full of loop holes, over-the-top acting and an overdose of action that doesn't fit well all the time. The timing is right so the film will run to packed houses but it's surely not a film that I would recommend as your last outing for 2013! Read Full

Dhoom 3 rests on Khan's magnetism, his actor's eyes and jaw-line, his abs playing a part too. But the film is powered by its action.Clocking in at nearly three hours, Dhoom 3 is slightly extensive. But it holds advantages, the first, that sizzling Dhoom tune, all leather, boots and electric guitars, which straightens sagging scenes. Dhoom 3's story with a twist wrapped around it, like the ribbon around a Christmas gift. Merrily unwrap - flying out of the Great Indian Circus, Dhoom 3 is great fun.  Read Full

Twenty minutes into Dhoom 3, reeling from the assault of cinema so amateurish it’s hard to believe it was put together by grown men, I began to ask myself precisely what this film was trying to be.The trick, of course, is on us. Shroff might have called his act The Box In The Box, but producer Aditya Chopra goes one better, knowing we’ll show up to watch a Dhoom film if only to laugh at it. This time around, Aamir’s The Boy In The Box Office.  Read Full

Despite being overlong (the runtime is 172 minutes) and a tad laden-footed at times, Dhoom: 3 stays true enough to its avowed intent to be passably engaging.Dhoom: 3 is fun while it lasts, but it might not leave the viewer with the sense of having watched a film that is truly unique. Read Full

The film comes alive in scenes where good old Bollywood emotion — tears-welling-up-eyes between father and son, and ladka-and-ladki — is allowed to come to the fore. Those earlier two films had the right doses of cheese and speed, and that's why they worked. 'Dhoom 3' is more bust than boom.  Read Full

Dhoom 3 was spectacular and majestic. Keeping a strong hold on the emotional prowess of its plot, the film sews in the slick action so awe strikingly. Don’t go in expecting an Aamir Khan film because it isn’t without flaws. But it gets right everything that is must for a commercial film, especially its ability to grasp on to the interest of audiences. Even cool thieves are vulnerable people and to be able to get that correct is what makes Dhoom 3 a winner. One bang up job Read Full

Review By: Taran Adarsh Rating: 3/5 Site: BollywoodHungama
Prabhu Dheva revived the masala genre in Bollywood with WANTED, triggering off a plethora of entertainers subsequently.RAJKUMAR has everything that the hoi polloi looks for in atypical mass entertainers, the problem lies in the fact that there being an overdose of masala films, one can actually foresee what's in store next. The story is done to death, the screenplay is far from inventive and everything seems conventional. Sure, a few moments do keep you glued and hooked to the proceedings, but the waferthin plot and lackluster screenplay plays spoilsport. On the whole, R... RAJKUMAR doesn't work. It is Prabhu Dheva's weakest Hindi film to date!  Read Full

R… Rajkumar is incontrovertible proof that Prabhu Dheva has been hit by the law of diminishing returns. From this critic’s point of view, watching this film is like being trapped, for all of two-and-a-half excruciating hours, in a torture chamber with no escape channel in sight. It is a dreadfully painful and numbingly grotesque drama that could put one off Bollywood action flicks for a while. The hero calls his lady love Lollypop. But expect no sweet delights. For the film, on its part, is pure poppycock. The only place that it should be heading to is the cleaners.  Read Full

The only achchi baat about the film is the song 'Gandi Baat'. But the scene where Shahid and Prabhu Dheva share the dance floor is too short-lived and already broadcast on trailers.A film like R... Rajkumar works merely on gimmicks. And to join these gimmicks, a story is devised and put into place.Though he earnestly attempts to be a Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar prototype, he isn't as effortless. And that's not the only mismatch here - there's also the lead pair. Read Full

What if a same dish is served to you every day? You might love it in the beginning, like it for some more days, and finally get bored of it. Every alternate week Bollwood filmmakers are serving audience with the same mundane no-brainer action films, and this week’s release R…Rajkumar is another entrant to the list. It has the same action, romance, plot which you have seen 100 times before in other films. The biggest reason why R…Rajkumar is a big disappointment is that there is no surprise element in the film. One could easily predict the entire plot of the film. Read Full

Review By: Taran Adarsh Rating: 3.5/5 Site: BollywoodHungama

First things first! The title, GRAND MASTI, is a clear indicator of what to expect from the film. There's a hidden innuendo in the word 'Grand' and if you remove a letter or two, the meaning can have severe ramifications.GRAND MASTI isn't plot-driven. Not at all. And don't even expect a story here. It's more about double entendres, [sexual] puns and gags and the writers go bananas to woo the spectator. There's nothing left for imagination here, nor does it hinge on puerile or kiddish jokes, since the characters indulge in some really naughty play of words. On the whole, GRAND MASTI crosses all limits and boundaries vis-a-vis adult humor. This one's *strictly* for those who relish naughty jokes, outrageous lines and scandalous visuals.  Read Full

Tushar Hiranandani and Milap Milan Zaveri’s story and screenplay are an assemblage of gags rather than a free-flowing drama. While some sequences are hilarious and some funny, there are also some which are plain boring. On the whole, Grand Masti will be loved by the youth, masses and front-benchers and disliked by the family audience and ladies. In the final tally, it will prove to be a richly rewarding fare. Read Full

I am not celebrating Grand Masti like I did Delhi Belly (a film I had felt at the time would usher in change in the way we think of our cinema, much to the indignation of naysayers) because it does not share a similar level of artistic merit (hence the rating). But if Delhi Belly was the pressure cooker's first whistle, Grand Masti has blown the lid off in terms of shaking up our content. In the history of art, this has never been a bad thing.  Read Full

In Grand Masti, the trio looks too old. Strike one. The film doesn't even make a stab at a plot, not even a sliver-thin one. Strike two. And the gross-out gags, all geared at male groins which is what Bollywood "adult comedies" are presumably meant to do, are all, apologies in advance, limp.Only when you are assaulted for over two hours by lines so astoundingly callow that you realise why we have no "adult" comedies. Don't get fooled by the parade of bikinis and acres of bobbing bare flesh, or dialogues that "involve rockets in pockets" Read Full

Riteish, Vivek and Aftab are comfortable in their roles and even manage to say some of the most terrible things with a poker face. The girls are not really required to act. While the wives are shown to be particularly dumb, the temptresses with vacuous expressions and ample cleavage make the impact they are required to.  Read Full

Though I was prepared for some heavy dose of sexual humour, Grand Masti seems to be going overboard with certain sickeningly dirty jokes and one-liners. So far, the first half seems OK to me, hopefully, I get to see something beyond the 'S' factor in the second half.. Read Full

I do wish I had something, anything good to say about the film but I’m afraid there is nothing. There were parts that made me cringe so much that I couldn't bear to look at the screen. The male chauvinist worldview that Grand Masti perpetuates -- that all women are available; men are sex starved because they don’t get any from their wives.I am going with zero out of five stars for Grand Masti because there is no way you can enjoy this movie and still claim you respect women.  Read Full
